Making college finances clear for every student.
At SmartTuition, our mission is to make college finances understandable and accessible for every student. Applying to college is already stressful enough—understanding tuition, scholarships, financial aid, and student loans shouldn't make it even harder.
We believe every student deserves free, easy-to-understand resources to help them make informed financial decisions about their future.
Financial Literacy First
Clear, student-focused guides to scholarships, aid, loans, and budgeting.
Founded by students, for students.
SmartTuition was founded by Will Cerullo, a high school student who recognized how confusing and overwhelming the college financial process can be. Wanting to make this information easier for other students, he created SmartTuition as a free educational platform dedicated to simplifying college costs and financial aid.
As the project grew, Will recruited his friend Ahan Shrestha to help expand and improve the platform. Together, they continue building tools and resources that help students better understand the financial side of higher education.
Beyond developing the website, Will actively promotes SmartTuition through social media by creating educational videos that reach students and families, helping spread awareness about scholarships, financial aid, and smarter college financial planning.
